Timmy turns from a coward into a brave boy after his family move from New York to the country. Overjoyed to be free from his city phobias -- bullies, subways, elevators -- Timmy finds that he has fears in the country too -- like the television star of a fat boy who lives next door and a lady huntress just back from India with a pet tiger. Humor of the casually-treated-stray-tiger and the-family-next-door-who-have-a tv-breakfast-show sort, youthfully Jeevesian, abounds in Timmy's fantastic blunders towards bravery. A bit palling in big doses but the right amount can go over with a bang.
