Nanette was a very sad poodle. She wanted to be a mother."" Thus coyly begins a photo record of a female poodle nursing four young raccoons after her own offspring has died. There's not much to it beside some arch captions (""Is he beginning to look like me?"") and several shots of the raccoons suckling or sucking a bottle. When they're bigger, three are readied for the zoo, one, reluctant, remains with Nanette. (That he won't be just like a puppy when he grows up escapes notice.) Something winsome in the greeting card line.
