by Martin Dibelius ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
The Sermon on the Mount as a pattern for life. That it isn't practical, that it hasn't been tried -- these and a hundred other excuses will be raised to explain the seeming failure of Christ's plan for a way of living, but we suspect Professor Dibelius comes closest to the correct answer when he says ""real fulfillment is possible only in The Kingdom of Heaven"". Perhaps we might create that kingdom now instead of the Hell we've fashioned for ourselves. Dibelius is unsurpassed as a student and writer on New Testament, and his popularity will only be topped by the subject he has chosen, for clergy, students, social workers and hard materialists have always been intrigued and challenged by it.
