Another title in the musician series, and again a simply told story concentrating on the musicians's childhood. Unfortunately, there seems to be a level of sameness in these books which makes them lack the individuality of, for instance, Deep Flowering Brook. Schubert's story seems rather colorless, with slim material spun out.
