Also the rhymes and the sound effects need adult interpretation to get over, at the start. Factual details about what happens in the various ""things that go"" of his daily life, for the youngest members of the family. Automobile, airplane, telephone, vacuum cleaner, steam shovel, sewing machine, freight train -- the hows and whys in simple terms, with enough repetition to carry the content. Well done, though the use of present tense in most of the ""stories"" will annoy some readers. Sound, smell, motion well conveyed.
