Good tripe -- but little more. A problem novel, revolving around the question of alimony that can't be met, an ex-wife who stages a sob story before the jury, and a tragic aftermath for the new wife until a trick releases him from jail. Ends on a note of hope for happiness. Characters emerge from the carboard realm but the story is pretty trashy in the handling. Ran as a ""one-shot"" in Red Book. Rentals.
