BASEBALL PALS

As a boy and captain of the ball team, Jimmie Todd's main problems are a common enough wish to be top dog and the lack of control that would make him a good pitcher. Though his conscience tells him his friend Paul would be a better pitcher for the Planets, Jimmie insists on giving himself the position and there are a few bad moments before Jimmie has the strength to realize his own shortcomings and ask Paul to pitch. Wholesome easy reading for the little league age.
