THE BANANA MEN

A helicopter, taking off from a Florida estate, is blown off course and forced to land in Cuba. The displaced passengers are the President of the U.S., the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. A package of prize hostages for Castro? Yes--except for the ingenuity of a wholly sympathetic Don Camillo type, one Father Daniel, who manages a nice combination of Celtic wit and Latin verve which none of Fidel's minions can match.... Cheerfully energetic entertainment for an entrenched audience.
