by Mildred Davis ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 9, 1964
A voice on the telephone provides some loose connections between a plane crash and three seemingly unaffiliated young women: Peggy Cunningham, in a hospital, who is asked for half her dead (?) husband's flight insurance before her baby is kidnapped; Abby Bailey who is foolish enough to attempt to contact the man on the other end of the line; and an appealing teen ager. Each tells a story which is strategically interrupted and the stop and go technique provides some breathless suspense.
