PRANCE A Carousel Horse

A pleasant little story about a 125 year old carousel horse and his early adventures. Prance was made in New England in 1825 and spent gay years traveling with his brothers on the merry-go-round. There was wise Solomon, gay Pippin and pretty Snowflake to keep him company. But he was happiest of all with the children -- and one particularly -- a little girl who loved him and kissed him on the nose. It is a nice surprise to the reader when after Prance's other adventures are related -- an auction, a show-window phase and living at an antique dealer's -- Prance is bought and restored by the family of the little girl- now a grandmother. But Prance does not remember -- he is interested only in the happy little boy to whom he is given on Christmas.
