LES GUERILLERES

Cherchez les femmes -- micturating (on the first page), reading their 'feminaries,' invoking the goddess of the O (the O -- the circle -- the zero -- the vulval ring which appears throughout as the encircling symbol) or another goddess of war, weeping, writhing, and finally marching in ever greater configurations towards possible revolution, ferocious and exalted. ""They say that the sun is about to rise."" This small Oblation has been launched by Mary McCarthy as ""the only work of beauty to come out of Women's Lib"" and the beauty must be in its aromatic/iridescent prose which is also filled with strange words (parallelepipedon) and less questionably with its dans le buff celebration of the clitoris and the labia minora and majora and points interior. Most people will find it enervating.
