Like Westcott's Skip to My Lou (1989), a delightfully funny visual expansion of an appealing song. Here, a busy farmer's wife gives her husband a ludicrous series of instructions for mending a needed bucket, eventually coming around to one that requires the use of the offending bucket itself. Westcott adds an audience of comically bemused creatures, the music, and a nifty conclusion. Good fun.
