by Nancy Dudley ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 28, 1953
The heroine of this sprightly, appropriately detailed morale builder is six year old Linda who must have her appendix out. A nicely adjusted child, Linda has no more than the ordinary amount of qualms when her side starts hurting, when the friendly doctor tells her she must have her nasty old appendix out- and after it's over she has a good time making friends with the nurses and the other sick and injured kids in her wing. Fine to read if there are any such operations impending in the family, swell to recuperate on.
