MY BEACH HOUSE

A first person portrayal of a little girl's summer experiences, -- the long trip in the car, then a picnic under a tree en route, and arrival at last at the beach house, followed by frolics with playmates in sand, sun and sea -- this adds up to a minor tribute to pail-and-shovel fun. There are breezy wash drawings by Velma Ilsley in aqua and sepia which salute the child's summer world of sailboats and starfish. Recognition value. Firmly stitched.
