by Orlena Aagaard ‧ RELEASE DATE: Oct. 14, 1964
The best book so far encountered on this subject (and several have been examined). The approach is this:- ulcer diets initially must be prescribed by the physician; when the acute condition has been passed and a moderate, or perhaps permanent situation is arrived at, there is no reason for a monotonous diet. This book successfully provides a varied and appetizing assortment of recipes, and some excellent menus, including even the important ""snacks"" between meals. Call to attention of doctors as well as patients and- perhaps most significantly- those responsible for preparing the food.
