Dorrie, who got loose in her witch mother's magic in Dorrie's Magic, once again gets left to her own devices. While she is eating her milk and cookies, she lets in a blue witch who tries to take her away, but Dorrie retaliates by pouring her mother's shrinking powder over the witch and then trapping her in a bottle. The pictures of the earnest, slightly bedraggled little witch are pleasant and lively. An enjoyable story for the Halloween season.
