This is a guide book for group reading of Holy Scripture adaptable to individual reading as well. It is the author's hope that it will be useful as a guide to mental prayer based on the text of the Bible. The reference are not to whole books but to passages from both the Old and New Testaments related to a specific topic. The topical arrangement follows the course of the ""Salvation History"" which the entire Bible represents. Comments are kept to the minimum and are very simple. The readings are indicated by units, 150 in the main body of the text, 75 more in an Appendix. Each unit consists of an introduction, psalm reference, references to three or four readings in connection with a specific topic, a concluding prayer. The book should prove useful at any level for Bible-study clubs, in the classroom, for group and private meditations.
