BLACK WIDOWER

Tibbett of Scotland Yard here--in Washington, D.C.--where the beautiful eccentric British wife of the ambassador of a new Caribbean republic is found dead after a reception. Tibbett is about to throw in his hand after the second murder until that last unturned stone trips him back among the diplomatic and political manipulators in Washington and the Caribbean. The last chase takes place in a Georgetown garden maze where Tibbett finds the head cheese. Cool and satisfying.
