THE FINGERPRINT

Miss Maud Silver, in her rather lofty manner, points the way to Frank Abbott in the case of the murder of a fingerprint collector. Jonathan Field, whose prize exhibit is the print of a self-confessed killer with whom he had been caught in the blitz, is about to change his will after a quarrel with his expected heir in favor of a newly found relative. And Miss Silver in firm for proof rather than evidence. Tidy.
