by Paul Hanly Furfey ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
There is more food for thought, and action if one is so inclined, in this small book than in a dozen average religious publications. Dr. Furfey starts with the promise that the world, if it is to be saved, must turn to the church. That to him is Catholic and he asks what is Catholic Social Thought? Nor does he fail to answer his question and outline an intelligent plan for the application of his remedy. As the Catholic Book Club selection for August, there should be a good sale for the book among Catholic laymen as well as priests, sisters and social workers.
