BRONCHO APACHE

A grim, taut tale of a primitive man's struggle is red meat for those who enjoy adventure in which a man must rely on his wits and courage in a fight against the wilderness. The last ""fighting"" Apache -- the warrior Massel -- escapes from the prison train which, with Geronimo and his defeated tribe, is headed toward Florida and exile. He travels back to the Ban Carlos reservation on foot -- a year's journey -- but is driven to the lonely warpath by the treachery of a tribesman. Fine historical material.
