A pleasant tutorial for parents makes some valid rather than startling ints for the parent who would and should take an active interest in his child's arning experience. Grades are certainly not the goal of education and you should help your youngster to achieve satisfaction, but not necessarily by doing his homework. It is a question of sharing, but not crowding; encouraging his interests without imposing your own; communicating (Mr. Mok takes ""togetherness"" part). A parent should also encourage curiosity, awareness, skills; plan activities without over-scheduling; set up firm controls; prepare the child for school and establish the proper rapport with the school where today so often diocrity is encouraged at the expense of excellence ... A book of approaches and attitudes which are difficult to refute but sometimes harder to follow even though the presentation is at a PTA level of accessibility.
