A sermon in story form -- the life story of a youth wisely raised by parents who adored each other and handled their son with a view to building his defences rightly. His sex experiences were fortunate -- his development normal and healthy -- his rise to success typical of the '20's. Then comes the depression -- almost he goes under -- almost is defeated by false pride. His recouping of his fortunes is almost too easy -- his winning through his complexes to the right girl and happiness too facile. But for those who like to feel that ""God's in his heaven and all's right with the world"" -- this is a wholesome heartening book.
