The terminal results of a boy's repudiation of his mother are shown through the unhappy history of Davey Carter and recorded by his best friend Eddie Mason who tries to straighten him out. The only child of a cold and disapproving mother, Davey spends little time at home and with Eddie alternates between the nice girls they fool around with- and the Polack girls they can lay. But for Davey there is also the attraction to Maritta Crandall, the mother of Alice whom he dates- but not a motherly type, and the ambivalent relationship they indulge does much to disgust Eddie. Davey, with his mixed up feelings about his parents, about Maritta, becomes more and more unstable; he beats up an unknown woman; and when he is trapped by Polack Bella- who is pregnant- the years of hostility find their outlet in murder.... Again (Episode) a case history based on the directive- cherchez Mom, this is thoroughly unedifying.
