NO NUDES IS GOOD NUDES

What ho! Blandings again, seat of Lord Emsworth, who still soothes his frazzled nerves by contemplating the mighty sow, the Empress of Blandings, in her steaming digs and perusing the refreshing Care and Feeding of the Pig. This time it's brother Galahad--he of the monocle and Old Grad of the roistering Pelican Club--who sorts out and straightens out a horde of interlopers at Blandings including an abrasive Duke (yclept ""The Stinker""), young lovers at odds, a brace of genial Americans and a busy thief. A painting of a large pink nude, former wife of one American, is about to be purloined for all sorts of urgent reasons. Night walks, plots and pantry conferences lead to a double wedding and a roly-poly pudding for Lord Emsworth. Neater, livelier than his last (Do Butlers Burgle Banks, 1968) and the sun is far from setting over Blandings.
