by Phil Stong ‧ RELEASE DATE: Oct. 16, 1935
This book really does not belong in the picture-story book class, as it is a story that will appeal to the next age group as well. Same age appeal as Phil Stong's Farmer Boy last year, but a better book from every angle. An original story of a hungry moose that braved the village streets and let his nose -- and his tummie -- lead him right to the village livery stable, where he became, willy nilly, a charge on the community each winter.
