This is highly specialized but a bargain to those who are rifle-minded. Through a special operation of their mail order department, Morrow's have managed to publish for $7.50, a book which would otherwise have been quite out of reach. The author is a well-known authority on firearms and the introduction by an equally well known army officer will commend it to his brother officers. Contact army posts near you -- call on the officers of your local reserve officers training corps in colleges or reserve corps that meet in local armories, etc. Besides this market, try your big game enthusiasts and target fans -- for besides a detailed history of the various rifles there is material on cartridges, loading, etc. The book contains 400 good illustrations, is expertly indexed and boasts a fine bibliography. It is a book you may feel you would not want to buy outright but would like to show a customer. If you will take the matter up with publishers they will probably be able to make some ""On Sale"" arrangement.
