THE AMOROUS GHOST

.....is young suicide Rosette who becomes the companion of Parisian avant-gardiste Panouche while he taken over a relative's apartment in the Palata-Royal. Through her and her ghostly companions he is lured away from his contemporary pursuit of founding a new intellectual magazine, from his affairs with Annik, and from his sloppy-joe dressing. He finds nightly entertainment in stories of the past, in Rosette's more than spectral love for him, in the actual glimpses of Paris of bygone days and is even financially helped by Rosette's small hidden fortune. Her disappearance over his apparent interest in another revenant almost destroys him physically but Annik and a professor of occult sciences bring him safely back to normal. Only Annik then becomes the possessed and finally exercises their pursuer. French frivol for special tastes.
