Yeah boy. Playboy. With no emphasis on booze and broads...well maybe just a touch. But not that much. You won't have to slip it under a cover of Field and Stream on the train ride home from the office. A-n-n-n-ybody gives ya trouble. You tell 'em. It's a classic collection. We said so. Proof? Try thirty...umhumm...thirty stories starting out with George Langelaan's The Fly (you remember, it became a movie star). If they're still testy, flip to Ray Bradbury's lugubrious lyricism in The Vacation. More? Try Robert Bloch's getting to the truth things in Word of Honor; Charles Beaumont's unusual sociological twist-The Crooked Man, Robert Sheckley's latter day and very funny Spy Story, Henry Slesar's startling world After, J.G. Ballard's ghoulish Souvenir, Arthur C. Clarke as prophet and Bruce Jay Friedman looking fetching in sardonic satire. Now try and get your book back. If you can't, it's because it's marvel--ous.
