I KNOW A HOUSE BUILDER

This one has wandered into the wrong series: it might better be called ""Let's Go to Watch a House Going Up,"" which is what Tommy does in a standard reader text and substandard illustrations. ""He sees everything that happens--from the men pouring the concrete basement to the roofers nailing on the shingles,"" promises the preview, and he does, in a stiff, simplified recapitulation. Hanging around the site is more exciting, but at least kids will know the difference between a duct and a drainpipe.
