by R. Alice Drought ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
Somewhat misleading title for a book that is excellent in its field. It is not a camper's primer. It is definitely a book for adults in an administrative capacity connected with a camp. The main outline would seem to suggest that the type of camp for which it would be meant is the summer camp for boys or girls, the scout camp, or what have you. Locating the camp; providing for health, both physical and emotional and for safety; business management; counselor training; program; trips, etc. Illustrated with photographs. Each section carries its own brief bibliography. Indexed. A useful ""manual"" for a limited market.
