HYLAND OF THE HAWKS

A yearling ball player makes good as a catcher with the Hawks and helps put a crooked pitcher on the straight and narrow. Trouble brews at the start of the training season in Florida as Rex Elliot, the promising pitcher, covers his craft by rushing the team manager's daughter and causing Hyland's temporary departure from the club. Hyland's return reverses though, and Rex is caught at his game of ignoring signals. High fly.
