by Ralph Moody ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 1, 1961
More of Little Rietches and Man of the Family in this account of their move from Littleton, Colo., to Medford, Mass. In 1912, and the combined efforts of Mary Emma, the author and the rest of the family to establish a home and a business. School and a job at the grocery were apparently not enough for Ralph and cleaning, painting, papering, and battles with the decrepit furnace occupied many of his nights. As Ralph continues to get into the ""bad boy book"" by accident and mischance, Mary Emma takes lessons at the laundry, and a fire and flood bring a new source of income to the entire Moody clan. A heartwarming story of family unity with identifable characters among many age levels.
