Is another transition of Mein Kampf needed? A quarter of a million copier and more, in other editions, have been sold in America. Had it been as widely read fifteen years ago as now -- or even in its hastily translated and expurgated Houghton, Mifflin edition of 1939, some of the tragedy of these years might have been saved. For here is the ""blueprint for the age of chaos"" -- and this new translation, reported as ""the most readable and fluent translation that has been made"" may well extend the understanding of the culpability of the author still further.
