(circa 1914) to figure out who's trying to bedevil the brain of Bertie's guest and colleague Ludwig, who's on the brink of intuiting and positing Big Things. At the root of all the fuss, of course, is Aleister Crowley's satanic mysticism; so he and Wittgenstein end up in a Reichenbach Falls-style duel on a sea cliff in Sicily. Sounds like fun? It's not--unless you're a grad student deeply enough into theosophy or the philosophy of math to extract a few academic giggl. Highly learned--but stiff and cute.
