Exorcist books have been cloning like gerbils and this, written in devouring prose (""they clawed and kneaded each other"" or ""at last two soul deep words came bleating from her mouth""), could easily be the most misbegotten of them all. The scene is a small town in California where a string of girls, at the last count seven, are assaulted and/or killed--their bodies covered with ""a sea of seed"" apparently emanating not only from some monstrous figure of a warlock but also an instrument with a ""bulb on top. . . the size of a grapefruit."" The only reason you might go on reading this is to determine who he/it is with that strange endowment but you shouldn't. . . it's degrading.
