Slight in the story of Cherry, a WAAF, who falls in love with Simon who marries flekle Denise. Denise walks out on Simon, is believed killed in a train wreck, and Simon rebounds nicely on Cherry who marries him even though there is a question in her mind as to whether Denise is alive or dead. Her attempts to this, Simon's misinterpretation of her actions, a separation, and the heart fellow WAAP sustain this for that happy ending. England's war effort as a background.
