HOMER THE HUNTER

A rabbit, a squirrel and a crow pull a fast one on Homer the hunter who couldn't shoot straight by pretending to be ghosts (""ooooooooo, ooooooooo"") who must be placated by offerings of lettuce, nuts and corn. To his credit, bald, bespectacled Homer finally catches on and turns himself into ""a real ghost, just like you guys"" -- ""OOOoooooooo, said Homer. And they haunted each other happily from that day on."" A transparent rooose, but smooothly enough perpetrated to teach the beginning reader his ooo's.
