THE PROFITS OF WAR

Not only a study of the immediate problem, and a rehash of the more than twice told tale of the burden of responsibility for war on profiteers, but an historical survey of the shifting sources of profit, from earliest days, when the military leaders were the profiteers, to the present. Important background book, for much of the present somewhat distorted discussions of the subject. And leading up to a closer study of where present profits lie, and how to eliminate them.
