Mr. Lockridge is back with his regulars, Weigand, Shapiro, and Tony Cook of Manhattan South's Homicide. They're investigating the murder of a syndicated Nixonite columnist for a reactionary afternoon paper, followed by the men's room shooting of the managing editor. The case really isn't at all interesting so you'll have to settle for a certain dulith to go with the couth.
