The seven silly wise men are Close relatives to the three sillies in their complete dedication to no-think. The illustrations are of their mad scramble to carry the literal to the ridiculous. The figures are exaggerated and can be described as modified Al Capp. (NO matter what you may think of Li'l Abner, Capp is recognized as a draughtsman.) And those that are in color are best. The story is from the Finnish folk tales about the wise men of Holmola who tried to carry sunshine into their homes in bags and never thought of making windows; who harvested their rye one stalk at a time; who always had to be rescued from their idiocies by Marri, an outlander who spread the story. Cheerful easy to read, easy to tell.
