An alliterative bestiary of pastel creatures with stupid grins posed against black backgrounds while captions catalogue their noxious habits: e.g. the Seabe who ""Lives in Stopped Sinks/ Eats soggy spaghetti, stale sauerkraut, slippery spinach, silver spoons and slop."" The Loppy who ""Lives in Luscious Little Lumps"" (whatever that means) and the Pong who ""Lives in Purple Peacoat Pockets"" suggest the limitations of this idea, and by the time we arrive at the Xing (""Lives in Xals/ Eats Xels, xils, xols, and xuls"") it's obvious that it wasn't worth repeating 26 times. But Tallon never gives up until he's gone from Alpok to Zurk.
