This collection of time-passers, ice-breakers and mind-benders is written by a games addict with other addicts in mind. However, his book will be a life saver for those who are not in the least addicted but who must, nevertheless, get in group moving. The range is from the paper and pencil kind through the elaborate favorite of Elsa Maxwell in her heyday -- Murder. Some of the more active ones smack of the old rainy-day-recess games. The breezy, personal commentary that strings the games together is enough to make even an old spoilsport want to play. The subtitle could easily be -- The Social Chairman's Salvation.
