Dedicated to the ""politican.. symbol and mirror of American democracy""- one wonders just how democratic is this people's choice, who can determine elections through a knowledgeable manipulation of the political party and its various types of organization, the budget (""money doesn't talk; it screams""), proper utilization of campaign funds and campaign tools, publicity and propaganda, strategy and timing, sex, the women's vote, etc. A breviary for the novice in a planned profession. Whereas you and I know that all these factors are involved, it makes unpalatable reading.
