BIRDS AT NIGHT

A bird sleeping is a source of curiosity: how does it close its eyes? how does it hold on? how does it stay warm? An extended answer to each of these three questions is the substance of this auxiliary flight. The illustrations are not especially attractive or informative and the book is longer than it need be but the subject has a certain interest. Innocuous if you want a second grade book on every aspect of bird-watching.
