WHERE'S THE BUNNY

Although this is listed in the picture-book section, it can be used with pre-school through second graders, for the running text is simplified for beginning readers. The pictures, by the author, of the bunny and the puppy, as they wake, eat, reap, and play hide-and-seek are lively and full of fun, for bunny's eye, or bunny's ear is a find-it question -- until a sweater as a hiding place offers some trouble for puppy who gets caught in the sleeve...Subdued greens and orangey-reds in the colors add to the pleasure of this. Cloth-bound, oblong shape.
