BRADFORD AND THE BURGLAR

Bradford is a gerbil who lives in Miss Tilly's closet where she keeps a boot full of money and during the course of the story he saves the absent-minded lady's fortune -- twice -- from a persistent burglar. One can appreciate the youthful artists' efforts to project the scene from Bradford's point of view, but the page-sized hands and feet resemble awkward imitations of billboard art, and the story is no more innovative than the ways in which Miss Tilly caches her cash.
