THE PICNIC BEAR

Fuzzy was a small bear with a large appetite and a singleminded interest in picnics. Any picnic was to his taste--a flower picnic, an ant picnic, a strawberry picnic, and especially big ones like the people's picnic--but eventually he found that the bears' own picnic of honey was best of all. The anthropomorphism doesn't impinge on the story, and the easy moral isn't overbearing. It's a slight but a simple pleasure for pre-schoolers from a name that goes well.
