The universality of Christianity is shown by this book from the other side of the world. An author from St. Andrews College in the University of Sydney writes on the essentials and we find both the need and the answer in Australia about the same as in Princeton, Yale or Oxford. It is written with a clear cut sincerity that is both helpful and convincing, modern in language and approach yet first century in its simple, evangelical note. No furbelows but the essentials. A good book for those who abhor the complicated systems many churches have built up but would be interested in the kind of life that Jesus came to bring to men.
