This really does substantiate its title in spite of a basic question-and-answer approach, offers more information than more recent correspondents in the divorce case book field (i.e. the Pilpel & Zevin Your Marriage and the Law, 1952, and Haussamen & Guitar's The Divorce Handbook, 1962). Mr. Kling, a syndicated columnist on marriage as well as a legal expert on divorce, gives a full bill of particulars on that of divorce- the statutes and interpretations which obtain state by state from the initial proceedings and the definition of terms to later problems of alimony and support, children, etc.. He also gives specific and stringent recommendations on when the marriage can be saved, what is to be faced later in the event that it is not, and in the appendix lists legal aid societies, legal terms, etc. .... Excellent preliminary and referral material.
